Taylor Split Repair

This spontaneous split ran through much of the lower bout, all the way up and over the cutaway

All’s well that ends well… or so they say, right?
Ever open your case to this horror?  I did.

Not supposed to happen, but freak occurrences do happen.  This beautiful 324ce-K FLTD (Taylor’s 2014 Fall Limited Edition solid koa guitar) split down the side in two spots, supposedly while sitting safely in its case at the selling dealership.  At first, Taylor said it never happens without being bounced or knocked over or somesuch, so they wouldn’t repair it under warranty.  After a relatively brief discussion, they came to agree and picked up freight and both structural and cosmetic repairs.  Those repairs were done so impeccably that none of us could even find the damage when they were done!

After the repair. Can't even see the repair!

All’s well that ends well. Thanks so very much, Taylor Guitars!
